The project of a 100-meter apartment for a young family with two children in the residential complex Kutuzovsky.Life had to be made light and bright, but at the same time not boring. Relevance, trendiness was not an end in itself, the idea was to create a modern and at the same time warm, family space. In addition, we tried to emphasize the obvious dignity of the apartment – from the large windows there was a view of the Setun’ River and the park.
We have made the public space (hallway-kitchen-living room) one. The hallway is separated only by a formal translucent partition, built on a combination of strict graphics of frame structures with a light multidirectional texture of corrugated glass. The partition, as it were, opens the “curtain” to the most interesting part of the apartment – the kitchen-living room, and at the same time it is one of the most expressive elements of the interior.
The kitchen area is pushed behind this partition, and is not immediately readable. The kitchen is strictly symmetrical, and the massive island is designed to separate the living room from the cooking area. A small dining group is located in the most spectacular view point – at the corner window.
On the other side of the hallway leads a small corridor to the master bedroom with bathroom and dressing room, nursery, playroom, main bathroom and laundry room.
The graphics of black details, unobtrusive rhythms of plaster panels and small inclusions of accent colors are the main leitmotif of this interior.
During the implementation of the project, the life circumstances that happened to our customers significantly affected the project budget. As a result, it has been significantly adapted, and top European brands have been replaced by more democratic ones, in some cases Russian ones. Nevertheless, we tried to preserve the overall spirit and character of this interior.
