The project of an apartment in the center of Moscow is distinguished by an unusual planning solution. It was necessary to place a living room, a master bedroom and 2 isolated children’s rooms, having only 3 windows at their disposal.
The main idea of the project was formed from the resulting space transformed by sliding partitions and the general theme of the japandi style. The rooms separated by sliding partitions are one of the characteristic features of a traditional Japanese house, which in turn had a significant impact on the architecture and interiors of functionalism. This prompted the idea to bring an unobtrusive “Japanese” to the project.
